LMW was founded by Leanne Flower and is dedicated to empowering women.
LMW admires and aspires to successful business men however anyone who has followed the women’s revolution and read Men are from Mars Women are from Venus will understand that women often struggle with limiting beliefs, lack confidence from time to time, and do not like to promote themselves aggressively. In a nut shell, they have different requirements and have a softer approach to ‘doing business’. They love to share ideas and appreciate and respect the views of others. They want to grow and develop in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Today’s business women are strong, committed, and dedicated. They want to help others whilst helping themselves. They realise they can achieve more by working with and through others. A LMW member believes there is no value to being aggressively competitive; they support the adage that “there is no ‘I’ in team’; and understand that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
LMW’s mission therefore is to create a unified community of successful confident business women; where each person celebrates their success and is confident enough to ask for help. Its aim is to do this by providing opportunities for business women to network with each other and deliver training, inspiration, and coaching to help them grow personally and professionally.
